Aim of the Conference

The main focus of the Music Cognition Symposium is to create an environment to present new research on the field of music cognition in detail by the music theorists and scientists related to the field from other disciplines, with workshops, presentations and discussions.

 Within the scope of this symposium, topics on neurophysiology and the neuropsychology of music, musical memory and its relation to music cognition, interdisciplinary approaches in aural skills and music cognition will be included, thus creating a place for discussion on the methods of music institutions in selecting students and how to improve the skills of these students. Attendance is expected in the fields listed below:
